Date Night In involves staying at home and getting intimate with a book you’ve had your eye on or have wanted to mark off the list. There’s no reason not to make it a comfortable and special occasion and as the weather is cooling down again, keeping in the warmth and comfort of home sounds like a good option.
What to do in no particular order: Dust off your fondue pot and make a quick trip to the grocery store for any missing ingredients for your fondue. Start dipping those bread cubes, meatballs, and fresh veggies into some warm and creamy parmesan cheese. Throw on your favorite cozy sweater and sneakers, settle into a pair of comfortable jeans, and pull your hair back with a nice barrette. Coffee is my drink of choice, but you can uncork a bottle of red wine, open that book you’ve been anticipating (don’t forget to take notes for later in your journal), light a candle, and get down to business.
